Meeting Dates for 2026

The Group meets at Escape Arts, The Yard, Stratford-Upon-Avon at 2.30 on the 2nd Friday of the month. The Yard can be accessed from Sheep Street though a covered archway between between Charles Clinkard (shoe shop) and The Golden Bee (Wetherspoons).

Recently we have be interested in the reason for the distance between the Churches in Alveston and the Alveston Manor Hotel, photographs and maps and what they tell they tell us and the activities of the members of the group who work on the team of people producing annual exhibitions on local history in Harvard House in the High Street.

Group members are drawn from those who have lived here all their life, those born nearby and far away and those who have lived here only for a year or two.
