The Rambling Group, lead by Martin Young and Nigel Wilkins (currently on a sabbatical), meets every fourth Tuesday (apart December) at 09:45 to walk at 10:00. We aim for a distance of around five miles on an easy circular route. Whilst we also aim to start from / end at a pub for lunch (optional), COVID has reduced the opportunities for such, so a short drive to a suitable hostelry is sometimes required. The pace is leisurely and includes a coffee stop (bring your own) late morning. Lunch is usually booked for 13:00 and may require a pre-order if numbers and the venue dictate. Anyone is welcome to join us; an email is sent to a distribution list (which I'm happy to update at any time) with specific details each month about two weeks before the walk. Boots are always recommended since the going underfoot can be challenging.
